Accommodation

Magdalen College can provide on-site accommodation for all participants who attend MOVD/EDH 2024. To maximise interations the organisers hope everyone will consider booking a room in the college via the link below. These are single rooms and very reasonably priced for accomodation in central Oxford.

Please note:  on 2 July there will not be any scientific sessions, only afternoon arrival, Welcome Reception then dinner. 

July 3 and 4th will be talks/posters all day, 

July 5th there will be talks in the morning followed by lunch and departure.


Stay in a Magdalen College room: 

Rooms in Magdalen College are a mix of student study bedrooms, offered at £50 per night and a smaller number of recently refurbished study bedrooms with en-suite facilities, at £78 per night. Both rates include breakfast in the College Hall.

Bedding, linen and small bath towels are provided and rooms serviced on week-days. Rooms are equipped with a small refrigerator, with tea and coffee making facilities also provided.

Standard single rooms have their own wash hand basin, and guests share bathrooms, showers and toilets located closeby on the same staircase.

Ensuite rooms have a private shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

For those wishing to stay in a hotel, the closest are the Eastgate Hotel* and the Old Bank Hotel, both a few minutes walk from the college:
